Plugin wajib wordpress berdasarkan theme default itu saya pilih sebagai judul karena memang itulah yang seharusnya, karena banyaknya theme wordpress gratis maupun premium yang mempunyai fungsi-fungsi plugin yang sudah ditambahkan/include kedalam theme-theme itu. Sebenarnya setelah coba saya teliti apa bedanya theme default gratis dari wordpress dengan theme premium itu sebagian besar hanya terletak pada penambahan fungsi plugin didalam theme premium tersebut.
Contoh mudahnya dalam theme premium kadang tidak perlu lagi plugin page navi, plugin-plugin seo, plugin penambah widget dan lain-lain walaupun tidak semua theme premium seperti itu. Plugin-plugin wajib wordpress yang saya bahas adalah free plugin saja, mungkin lain waktu yang premium ok? Tulisan yang saya tebali adalah nama-nama pluginnya, Let’s go J.

Yang terakhir ini mempunyai fungsi lebih lengkap, download dan ekstrak lalu perhatikan readme.txt untuk melihat fungsi-fungsi dari plugin ini agar tidak salah pilih theme dan plugin.
4. Plugin STT2 (Search Term Tagging 2) untuk menangkap dan menyimpan kata kunci yang masuk dari search engine serta mempromosikannya lagi di search engine; kerang lebih itu deh.
5. SEO ALRP(SEO Auto Links & Related Posts) plugin ini seperti gabungan 2 plugin, seo smart links dan related post.
6. Privacy Policy for WordPress Plugin untuk auto page privacy policy atau bisa dengan manual digunakan di wordpress offline copy-paste edit nama domainnya.
7. Google XML Sitemaps Generator
Ada juga Plugin Google XML Sitemap for Mobile, Google XML Sitemap for Images, dan Google XML Sitemap for video. Kegunaannya : Sitemaps are a way to tell Google, Bing and other search engines about web pages, images and video content on your site that they may otherwise not discover. J
8. WP Archive-Sitemap Generator plugin, Dagon sitemap generator atau XSL stylesheets from XML (pilih satu).
Kegunaannya : generates simple `Archives/Sitemap` based on your blogs posts and pages. This is not another XML sitemap plugin, but rather a nice post sitemap or page sitemap generator. Now user can show total comments count after posts, jadi ini sitemap buat pengunjung bukan search engine(XML). 9. Contact form 7 untuk auto kontak atau bisa dengan manual.
10. Cache
DB-reloaded fix, wp-minify dan wp-supercache. Ketiga kombinasi plugin ini terbukti bagus walaupun dipakai di hosting biasa, namun bila hosting yang anda pakai kuat maka cukup pakai W3-cache untuk menggantikan ketiga plugin tadi.
11. Kompres
· wp-html-compression : kompress HTML
· wp-smushit : kompress file gambar, bagus bila blog anda bnyak gambarnya.
· Wp css : kompress CSS, hati-hati plugin ini kalau digabung dengan theme premium suka ada errornya.
· Faster Image Insert : untuk mempercepat upload image.
12. Get the image
Menampilkan featur gambar post, kadang sudah include ditheme. Cari dulu di theme code: <?php if ( function_exists( 'get_the_image' ) ) get_the_image(); ?>
13. SEO Friendly Images
Otomatis menambahkan alt dan title attribute untuk image anda dan juga membuatnya valid W3C/xHTML http://www.prelovac.com/vladimir/wordpress-plugins/seo-friendly-images.
14. Robots Meta atau iRobots txt SEO
Memudahkan pengaturan robots.txt hanya di dalam wp-admin tanpa repot untuk upload, biasanya untuk pertama harus upload dulu dan kalau anda memakai Plugin Wordpress SEO by Yoast disitu sudah ada pengaturan robots.txtnya.
15. Plugin Wassup
Untuk menampilkan stats visitor dan mesin pencari(robot), ini adalah alternatif plugin yang sangat bagus menurut saya.
16. Secure wordpress
Scurity atau satpam wordpress blog hehe... ada juga Wordpress firewall 2, plugin ini diaktifkan bila theme dan semua plugin sudah selesai diinstall karena yang saya alami plugin ini akan memberitahu lewat email perubahan dasar walaupun kita sendiri yang merubahnya.
17. Plugin hope (untuk menampilkan lyric lagu insha Allah di admin screen) pengganti hello dolly, silahkan copas code dibawah ini di Notepad+++ lalu simpan dengan nama Hope.php, zip dan upload.
